Goldenrun Clydesdales in Hermitage, PA started in 2000 with the purchase of two geldings. Our love for the breed resulted in having anywhere from 10-15 horses and we try to have 2-3 foals per year. With 30 years of horse experience, our goal is to breed quality bay clydesdales for show and pleasure. Our breeding program aims for good dispositions in our horses along with an upheaded athletic build while focusing on good feet, feather and clean legs. Sitting on a 100 acre farm that is family operated, we also have available for sale, a variety of quality horse hay, grains, and straw available year round. Along with breeding and showing clydesdales, we also focus on providing horsedrawn services for weddings, parades, private events and provide every fall on the farm, horsedrawn hayrides, pumpkins and other fall decorating items, food and good family fun!!
We are proud of our two sons Tom and Tyler who qualified and competed on Oct 12, 2007 in Draft Horse Driving at the Pennsylvania State 4-H Show. Thomas and Grace took 1st place and Tyler ( his first year of showing in 4-H) and BHNC Lady took 5th place. There were 15 4-H entries ranging from Tyler the youngest to age 18.
